A simple, private canvas for capturing and organizing your daily ideas visually.

Privacy

All your data stays in your browser (localStorage). Nothing is uploaded anywhere unless you explicitly connect the optional Google Drive backup (cloud button) — and that stores data only in your own Drive, optionally end-to-end encrypted.

How to use

• Double-click on the canvas to create a new card
• Double-click a card to edit its text
• Drag a card to move it
• Ctrl+click cards to select multiple, then drag any one to move them all
• Right-click + drag on empty canvas to draw a selection box around multiple cards
• Right-click a card to change its color
• Drag connector dots between cards to draw connections
• Click a connection to select it — add arrow tips, delete it (Del), or drag its endpoints to another side or card
• Double-click a connection to add a text label on the line — drag the label to slide it along the line
• Ctrl+V to paste text or images as new cards
• Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V on selected cards to copy them — also into another tab
• Tabs (top bar): + adds a canvas, double-click a tab to rename it
• Closing a tab never deletes it — it moves to the archive (box icon in the tab bar). Restore via Undo, Ctrl+Shift+T, or the archive list; only deleting from the archive is permanent

Navigating the canvas

• Scroll wheel — zoom in / out
• Left-click + drag on empty canvas — pan
• Space + drag on empty canvas — rubber-band select
• Two-finger scroll (trackpad) — pan
• Pinch (trackpad) — zoom

Keyboard shortcuts

• Ctrl+N — New card
• Ctrl+S — Save workspace to file
• Ctrl+F — Search cards
• Delete — Delete selected card(s)
• Escape — Deselect / close dialogs

Saving your work

Your canvas auto-saves to the browser. Use the save button to download a backup file, and load to restore it. You can also import/export as plain text.

Snap cards to the dot grid while dragging

Optional Google Drive backup is not configured for this deployment.

The site owner needs to create a (free) Google OAuth client ID and add it to the app — see the Cloud sync setup section in the project README. Your data stays in your browser meanwhile.

Back up your canvas to your own Google Drive and restore it on any device — like a messaging-app backup. Completely optional; nothing is sent anywhere until you connect.
